The Henry Hudson Trail presently consists of three segments and they are recognized as follows:

HHT Northern Extension- Runs approx. 11 miles from Atlantic Highlands near ave D to the corners of Clark Street, Lloyd Road and Girard Avenue near Aberdeen/Matawan. Parking on the eastern end is allowed at the Monmouth County Parks System lot 200 feet North of Ave D. on the Northbound side of State Highway 36. Parking is allowed at the western end at the baseball field lot on the corners of Clark, Lloyd and Girard.

HHT Southern Extension- Northern Portion runs approx.5 miles from near Church Street in Matawan to The Bicycle Hub of Marlboro in Wickatunk (Marlboro Township). Station Road is the actual end which is 100 feet past the rear property exit/entrance to this portion. Parking is available at The Bicycle Hub of Marlboro, but is poor at the Church Street end.

HHT Southern Extension- Southern Portion runs approx. 5 miles from Allen Street behind the housing development that is across the State Highway 79 from Marlboro High School to County Road 537 just east of Freehold. Parking is best at Stevenson Road in Marlboro or at the Montgomery Nursing home on Dutch Lane in Freehold.
